Getting Big...

Look what Lina can do!! She started pulling up this week, and is so proud of herself when she stands up!! She is crawling all over now and just got in her 4th tooth - WOW she is gettign big so fast.

Bell is also growing fast. She knows all the major colors, is doing puzzles like craze and just wants to do everything herself! Our Parents as Teachers educators name is Deb. She is fairly new to us, and Bell LOVES her. She stands at the door waiting when I say she is coming. She brings a big blue bag with educational stuff to do with Bell, and Bell wants to know what is in the bag as soon as she walks in the door! She brought us a felt board last week with bears on it. Each one had a different emotion on its face and she talked to Bell about how each bear felt (sad, happy, scared, mad). She left the bears with us, so we made a felt box, and got lots of colors of felt. So now we do colors, shapes, same / different, big / little as well as play with the bears.

We had a few really nice days this week and daddy and Bell went out to play football, it was very cute. Daddy is going to Arkansas tomorrow until Friday, so we will be missing him for a few days. Things have been crazy with Don and work around here lately, but hopefully they will shake out and settle down soon! When one door closes, another opens, and God works in very misterious ways, so all we can do is hope and pray that he will wind up with what is best suited to him.

It never fails that when you least need it to, something will go wrong. An example: I dropped a bowl on my glass stove cook top on Saturday and shattered it! I rembember my brother Dave telling me if the glass top crackes, just throw the stove away. Well he was right -that *&#*^ top costs $400 to replace!!! So, off to Sears scratch and dent we went to buy a new stove, lucky people who buy the house! And yesterday the fridge started leaking all over the floor. Well at least that is under warantee, so they are coming to look at it tomorrow. I guess with the desitin / carpet fiasco that makes three things, so it should be smooth sailing from here????
